Pad Printing Stress Relievers Empty Pad Printing Stress Relievers

Do you need to test polyurethane stress relievers before pad printing? I am assuming you would only be able to use the thinner and not heat?
Also on cleaning the pads for the pad printer for the first time it says to use thinner. Does it matter if it is the B thinner or the VD thiner?

I would smear some ink on the stress reliever and come back the next day to see if it sticks. Generally PH ink works best.

It does not matter which thinner you use to clean the pads but I would use the same type of thinner that is requred for the ink that is being used.
